Akkio is revolutionizing how agencies extract value from data. We're on the hunt for a talented and driven Technical Account Manager to join our Customer Engineering team and drive this mission. You will lead technical pre-sales, and customer success efforts, provide expert consultations, and design and implement complex solutions using Akkio's AI data platform. This role requires deep technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
This is a remote role based in New York City. Frequent onsite visits with clients is required.
Your Role:
- Develop and execute comprehensive technical account strategies tailored to customer needs, including setting goals, identifying challenges, defining KPIs, and establishing timelines.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer experience and satisfaction, managing key customer relationships and influencing product development based on customer feedback and industry trends.
- Serve as the primary technical expert on Akkio’s AI data platform, providing expert consultations and designing complex solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Facilitate seamless transitions from pre-sales to post-sales phases by collaborating closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to customer renewals or user churn, working with internal teams to develop and implement solutions.
- Advocate for customer needs and champion their success, encouraging customer advocacy through the development of testimonials and case studies.
- Conduct regular onsite visits with clients to strengthen relationships, understand their business objectives, and provide personalized technical support and guidance.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, transferring knowledge to the Customer Success team to drive technological adoption and innovation.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years in customer success, technical consulting, solutions engineering or similar roles, preferably with a technical product.
- Expertise in data science, and machine learning
- Familiarity with software architecture, and API’s
- Proven ability to build relationships within complex organizations and be a thought leader for customers.
- Ability to work across account tiers (e.g., Enterprise to MidMarket)
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, adept at engaging with executives (e.g., Directors, C-Suite).
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, able to manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.
- Leadership qualities and experience mentoring staff, coupled with solid project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in working with advertising and marketing agencies
- Experience with LLMs and working with conversational AI applications
